Context: A staff induction pack has been created for all staff to complete at their own pace, to support and develop an alliance wide understanding of ‘Children, Young People And Families Participation’. Developed with participation colleagues and champions, with input from Amplify the youth shadow board, the pack is part of our work to help achieve one of our 4 strategic participation goals, which is to develop more consistent staff skills, knowledge and confidence in participation.

Implementation: A phased implementation begins at the end of February. The following staff are expected to complete the pack within 3 months (by 31st May 2026):

• All staff who start in role from 1st March 2026 onwards
• Staff who started in role within the last 3 months (between 31 November 2025–28 February 2026)
• Mindworks Alliance Board members and senior leads
