My Voice Matters - Strategic Plan (2025-2027)
<aside> 💡
When Mindworks was created, we committed to “children and young people’s voices to be the loudest” and to ensuring that participation of children, young people and their families is central to decision-making.

Our strategy aims to drive a shared understanding and approach, building on good practice, whilst acknowledging the many forms participation may take.
The strategy adopts a rights based approach to participation, aligns to THRIVE and supports our ability to be needs led.
All children, young people, and their families are empowered to meaningfully participate in and influence decisions affecting their lives.
Participation becomes embedded in how we work, influences decisions, and supports a deep understanding of need, strengthening outcomes and experience.
Working in partnership with communities is embedded in our structures, processes and culture, forming part of our day-to-day.

Throughout all levels of Mindworks, young people and families have multiple opportunities to share their views about individual support and the ongoing development of the service.
Everyone in Mindworks recognises our collective responsibility to uphold children’s rights, including their right to participate in decisions which affect them and for this to be given ‘due weight’.
