Action cards:
- CYPF would like to receive confirmation of waiting times so they know what to expect.
- CYPF would like to be provided with specific, accessible information with what they can access while waiting for support and self help
- CYPF would like to understand what to expect when receiving mental health support - What to expect when you are coming to see us :: Mindworks Surrey
- CYPF want to be able to track requests for support/know where they are in the system easily. E.g: A chat function on the website, helpline and/or digital tracking
- Parents and carers would like more consistent and increased signposting to join already existing peer/parent support spaces, i.e. Family Voice Surrey
- Young people want emotional wellbeing and mental health services to create a leaflet explaining consent and information sharing so that they understand in more detail what they need to consent to and to know where they can find this, and what happens to their information
- Young people need discharge letters to signpost them to other services (”not just crisis lines!”) so that they’re aware of support available and how to access it
- Young people said it would be helpful for them to know about the person they will be meeting, some have suggested a staff profile that could be sent out with initial appointment letters once they are allocated a worker, and/or a place online where they can access/request this
